Welcome to the NEAR Food Shelf

NEAR will be closed on Thursday and Friday,
November 28th and 29th for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Monday through Wednesday, December 23rd - 25th
Wednesday, January 1st, 2025

To schedule a same day food pick up appointment:

- Call our main number at 763-533-2836 between

the hours of 9:00AM - 12:00PM (Noon) and select line 1.

- Food pick up appointments are scheduled between

1:00PM to 4:20PM Monday - Friday

Thanks to everyone who made donations during the Give to the Max Day event. Your contributions help NEAR to serve anyone with food needs by providing them with nutritious food.

NEAR's 2024 Holiday Toy Distribution Event

at the Crystal Community Center

Volunteer at the Toy Distribution event - Come and help us in person!

Attention Clients: The Toy Distribution event is for current clients with children aged newborn through Grade 12, who live in Crystal, New Hope and Robbinsdale. Pre-registration is required. Please call our main number, 763-533-2836 (press #1). Monday through Friday, during the hours of 9am to 2pm from November 18^th through December 11^st.

Ongoing giving is needed! Please consider donating to NEAR to help us serve the needs of our community.

- Donate Food –

o Collect shelf stable food and non-food items.

o Here are a few suggestions of items needed most: Spaghetti noodles and sauce, Cereal, Macaroni & Cheese, Soup, Peanut Butter, Jelly/Jam and Personal products.

o Drop off donations at NEAR’s receiving door from 8AM – 10:30AM, Monday through Friday. Any questions, please call us at 763-533-2836, line 2.

- Donate Funds –

o Mail a check directly to NEAR Food Shelf at
5209 West Broadway Ave., Crystal, MN 55429.
