NEAR - Funding

NEAR receives money and food donations from our church partners as well as local businesses, civic organizations and individuals. We need non-perishable food items and monetary donations. All donations are tax deductible.
Our administrative costs are approximately 8% of our the value of the food and products that we distribute to our clients. This is less than the target of 10% for charitable organizations.

- Monetary donations can also be made securely on the NEAR Food Shelf homepage, click on the Give to the Max icon.

- Non-perishable food and non-food items can be delivered to the NEAR Food Shelf receiving door in the rear of the building, Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 10:30am and in the afternoons before 3pm.
Please check in with the front desk volunteer at the side entrance door when you arrive for further instructions.
