What Services Does NEAR Provide?
Food Pickups
Individuals or families in our service area may call
(763) 533-2836 between
9:00am. to 3:00pm. weekdays to
schedule a same day appointment. Food
pickup appointments are scheduled
between 1:00pm to 4:20pm
Monday-
Friday. Clients are allowed to
visit NEAR twice a month.
Referral For
situations beyond the scope that NEAR can assist with,
referrals will be
made to the appropriate agency.
School Supplies and Holiday Programs
- School Out Lunch boxes of food are
given from June through August for
families with
school age children. Distributed with each food pickup
appointment.

NEAR provides school supplies for students as a part of
a Back-To-
School Program. Preregistration
required.
- Thanksgiving and Christmas food: Holiday food items will be available in
addition to our regular bi-monthly food shelf appointments.

- Holiday Toy Distribution:
For children aged newborn through Grade 12
of current clients who live in Crystal, New Hope and Robbinsdale.
